The Leah
Cohort
"Living Loved & Valued in
The Leah Inheritance."
A Breakthrough Cohort for Families who have Children with Special Needs.

Session One - Rueben
"Breaking Free from a Life of Despair"
"Leah went from being loved in her Father Laban's house to being hated in Jacob's just like when families receive a disability diagnosis for their child. However, God was moving in Leah's life to extend the understanding of love that only comes from sonship."
“Leah conceived, gave birth to a son, and named him Reuben, saying, “Because YAHWEH looked upon me with compassion in my misery, surely, my husband will love me now!”
Genesis 29:32 TPT

Session Three - Levi
"Joy amidst Loneliness and Isolation"
"Leah was lonely and isolated just like families who carry the ministry of disability often feel. However, God was moving in her life to extend the knowledge of deeper communion with Him."
“Leah conceived the third time, gave birth to a son, and named him Levi, saying, “This time my husband will be joined to me, because now I’ve given him three sons!”
Genesis 29:34 TPT

Session Five - Judah & The Mark of Kingship
"Stepping into the gift of Sacrificial love-- The Hallmark of the Gospel."
"What man overlooks and discards-- God places the gifts and callings of a King! Judah responds and steps into sacrificial love which is the highest form of love that can be displayed as a Christian who bears the image of Christ. Families who carry the ministry of disability step into this role and understanding of this character trait of Christ through the Caregiver role."
“Then Judah spoke up and said to Israel, “Father, I promise to guarantee his safety with my life. You can hold me personally responsible if I don’t return with him. I’ll bear the blame before you for the rest of my life if I fail to bring him safely back to you!” Genesis 43:8 TPT

Session Two - Simeon
"Living Above Shame, Embarrassment, and Dishonor"
"Leah describes being despised and held in contempt even by her own family just like families who carry the ministry of disability feel when negative behaviors arise. However, God was moving in her life to remove all shame and to propel her into her true identity."
“She conceived again, gave birth to a son, and named him Simeon, saying, “YAHWEH has heard that I am despised, and in his mercy, he has given me this son also.”
Genesis 29:33 TPT

Session Four - Judah
"The Lowly in Spirit gain Honor”
"Leah found herself honored before her enemies by the Lord moving in deliverance on her behalf. She became the first person in the Bible to Praise the Lord. When we surrender our control and step into humility-- we give the highest of praise to Hashem because He restores honor on our behalf."
“Once again, Leah conceived and gave birth to a son. She named him Judah, saying, “This time I will praise the Lord!” Genesis 29:35 TPT

Session Six- Judah & The Inheritance of Kingship
"Crucifying the Giants of Rebellion and Possessing the Promised Land of Spiritual Rest."
"Caleb from the Tribe of Judah would be the only one able to conquer the Giants of Rebellion (Sons of Anak) to obtain the Promised land. Each of these giants represents the giants of the flesh which need to be crucified to step into Sanctification and possess the Spiritual Promised land of rest available to all believers today-- Painting a beautiful picture of how the Ministry of Disability is a Sanctification Ministry for the Body of Christ."
“Now give me this hill country the Lord promised me on that day, because you heard then that the Anakim are there, as well as large fortified cities. Perhaps the Lord will be with me and I will drive them out as the Lord promised.” Then Joshua blessed Caleb son of Jephunneh and gave him Hebron as an inheritance. Therefore, Hebron still belongs to Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite as an inheritance today because he followed the Lord, the God of Israel, completely.”
Joshua 14:12-14 TPT

“Leah’s children wanted to walk in the favor and influence of society but God wanted a consecrated people who would be set apart to minister unto Him as Prophets, Priests, and Kings.”
“So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.” And he worshiped the Lord there.”
