The story behind our ministries name originates from Ephesians 3:17-19, which states just how abundant God’s love is for all of us. Individuals with disabilities are often viewed and described as less, broken, and defective by worldly standards. We spread awareness about how we can fully rest in knowing how valued, loved, and worthy we all are in His love that surpasses knowledge. 

“And I pray that you, bring rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞.”⁣

Meet Our Founders

Our story which became the reason why we love:

Down syndrome was a diagnosis that our family was so familiar with due to my husband’s younger brother, Isaac. My husband was 7 years old when Isaac was born and the love our family has for Isaac has always been plentiful. 

The day we received the call that our second child, Emmett, would have Down Syndrome was world stopping. It was something that we never imagined would impact our family twice. As a sibling, my husband knew how much love we would have to give our son. Dallas became the rock during this time and continued to remind me of this love even when I was full of doubt and fear. Dallas shared hope, reassurance, and glimpses of the love he saw growing up as a child. 

After Emmett was born, we knew that we wanted to share our story and help others who were going through the emotions of having a child with a disability. Little did we know that our unique journey with both of our children would be the springboard that launched us from grief into complete joy and dependence on the Lord.

 

There once was a time where I, Sarah, felt robbed of a "normal motherhood" experience but the Lord is gracious and didn't allow me to stay in that place. The key things that have spoken LIFE into this journey have been learning to recognize the Lord's truth vs. the lies of the enemy and partnering with the Lord in declarations of who He has called my children to be since before they were born.

In 2021, our ministry decided to prepare the expansion to include all disabilities which was inspired by our daughter, Hayden. In August of 2022, we walked through Open Heart Surgery with our son, Emmett. Despite the multiple traumas that our family has walked through, the Lord has provided through it all. We are very passionate about encouraging families who are walking through trauma with their children whether that be in receiving a disability diagnosis or heavily walking through medical treatments for their children. 

 

Our greatest prayer for each and every family who is impacted by our ministry is that they would be able to receive the revelation of how wide, long, high, and deep the love of God has for every single person on this earth. That you would know His love that surpasses your understanding over yourself and your children. That the Lord would be glorified as a GOOD Father despite the trauma which we face in this world.

 

May we all be given the revelation of seeing each person through the Father's lenses of His vast loving-kindness.

Lastly, as our story grows, so do our hearts. We will continue to expand our ministry into the areas where His love sends us.
